Promise Place Preschool
We Love Our Kids
At FSFBC Promise Place, we partner with parents to lovingly reach, teach, and disciple children for Jesus Christ. We offer age-graded classes for preschoolers from birth through kindergarten, where kids are nurtured and taught God’s Word in a way they can understand. From drop-off to pick-up, your child will enjoy a safe, caring, and age-appropriate environment created just for them.
Sundays in Preschool
Bible Study Classes
We have a special Bible Study class for all of our Preschoolers at 9:15 a.m. in Promise Place. We use a hands-on Bible based curriculum. We have a great time learning about Jesus together through play, storytelling, music and art!
Care During Sunday Worship Service
We provide care during our Sunday morning Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. for Preschoolers through our ETC (Extended teaching care) program. 4 years-Kindergarten classes go to Praise Place children’s church during the 10:30 a.m. service.
Praise Place Preschool Children’s Church 10:30 a.m.
Children in 4 year—Kindergarten classes have a special Children’s Church during the 10:30 a.m. service. Children go to their assigned Preschool classes and are taken to a fun time of Puppets, Music, Bible Stories, Memory Verses and creative activities. They return to their Preschool classes before the end of the Worship Service to be picked up by their parents.
Wednesday Nights
Adventure Land (during the school year)
Four-year-old and Kindergarten classes
In a clubhouse setting, children benefit from Bible Study, self-paced scripture memorization, game time, musical fun, refreshments and campfire time. Take-home workbooks consist of memory verses, projects, and at-home Bible studies. Vests and jewels are awarded for weekly accomplishments in this two year program designed to prepare children for eventually growing out of Preschool and enjoying the next step, our AWANA Children’s Ministry program.
Bible Buddies (during the school year)
Three year-old classes
Our three year old children have a great time of Bible Study, activity centers, puppets, videos, music and more as we use the Read and Share Bible program. Our hands-on approach makes Bible stories come to life as the children hold and “read” a Read and Share Bible in class. Bible concepts are supported and continued through the activities chosen.
Friendship Club (during the school year)
Two-year-old classes
Children enjoy Bible study, activity centers, crafts, game time and indoor or outdoor play.
Childcare is also provided for our younger preschoolers while parents attend various Wednesday evening activities.
Mother’s Day Out
FBC’s Mother’s Day Out is designed to provide your preschooler with good, positive learning experiences and hands-on activities. Our Preschool staff is committed to making Preschool a clean, safe, comfortable and happy learning environment for our children. It is our desire to meet the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical and social needs of each child while giving Mom some time off. If you’re interested in the FBC Mother’s Day Out program, contact Johna Gaddis or Linda Sumner at 479-788-6180.

Tips & Reminders
- Please label all of your child’s belongings (including pacifiers and sippee cups) this will help us better keep track of your child’s items.
- Diaper bag tags and labels are available in desk outside of baby rooms or in the Preschool Office.
- Please prepare your child’s bottle in advance.
- If your child has any allergies or other medical needs, please notify your child’s teacher and the Preschool office. We serve Ritz Crackers and Apple juice to toddlers-kindergarteners as a snack in Preschool. Other snacks should be posted by the teacher. Please notify us of any concerns or allergies.
- Please bring 2- 3 diapers and an extra change of clothing as needed for your child.
- If your child is potty-training, please send him/her in a training diaper until training is successfully completed.
- Toys and other “possessions” are best left at home unless they are a “security” item such as a pacifier, blanket, etc.)
- Children cry sometimes when being left by parents. We understand and expect it. It is a normal, healthy show of preference for parents. In most cases, crying stops a few moments after you leave and becomes less common with regular attendance. We are happy to work with you as your child adjust to his or her new surroundings. Give them a little time and they will feel confident and secure and love coming to their church!
